Biyografi
Dame Margaret Natalie Smith, 28 Aralık 1934 tarihinde Ilford, Essex, İngiltere'de dünyaya gelmiştir. Oxford Üniversitesi'nde patolog olan bir baba ve İskoç kökenli bir sekreter annenin kızı olan Smith, dört yaşındayken ailesiyle birlikte Oxford'a taşındı.
