Maribel Verdú (tam adıyla María Isabel Verdú Rollán), 2 Ekim 1970 tarihinde Madrid, İspanya'da dünyaya gelmiştir. Kariyerine henüz 13 yaşındayken reklam filmlerinde ve modellik yaparak başlayan Verdú, genç yaşta okulu bırakıp tamamen oyunculuğa odaklanma kararı aldı.
