Asia Argento (doğum adı: Aria Asia Maria Vittoria Rossa Argento), 20 Eylül 1975 tarihinde Roma, İtalya'da sinema dünyasının içine doğmuştur. İtalyan "Giallo" (korku-gerilim) türünün efsanevi yönetmeni Dario Argento ve aktris Daria Nicolodi'nin kızıdır. Babasının sinema mirası sayesinde çok genç yaşta setlerle tanışan Argento, oyunculuk kariyerine henüz dokuz yaşındayken Lamberto Bava'nın "Sogni e bisogni" (1985) adlı mini dizisiyle başladı.
