Biyografi
Sydney Pollack, 1 Temmuz 1934 tarihinde Lafayette, Indiana, ABD'de dünyaya geldi. Rus-Yahudi göçmeni bir ailenin oğlu olan Pollack, liseden mezun olduktan sonra New York'a taşındı ve efsanevi tiyatro eğitmeni Sanford Meisner'ın yanında, Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre'da oyunculuk eğitimi aldı.
