Biyografi
10 Temmuz 1983 tarihinde İran'ın Tahran şehrinde doğmuştur. Babası Behzad Farahani, tiyatro yönetmeni ve oyuncusudur. Annesi ise Fahimeh Rahim Nia, tiyatro oyuncusu ve şarkıcıdır. Golshifteh, ailesinin sanatçı olması nedeniyle küçük yaşlardan itibaren oyunculuğa ilgi duymaya başlamıştır. 2000 yılında, 16 yaşındayken "The Pear Tree" adlı filminde ilk defa rol almıştır.
