Biyografi
Edward James Olmos, 24 Şubat 1947 tarihinde Los Angeles, Kaliforniya, ABD'de dünyaya gelmiştir. Meksika kökenli işçi sınıfı bir ailenin çocuğu olarak Doğu Los Angeles'ta büyüyen Olmos, gençliğinde profesyonel bir beyzbol oyuncusu olma hayali kurdu. Ancak daha sonra müziğe yönelerek çeşitli rock gruplarında solistlik yaptı ve bu dönemde sahne sanatlarına olan ilgisini keşfederek tiyatro eğitimine adım attı.
