Katherine Boyer Waterston, 3 Mart 1980 tarihinde Westminster, Londra'da dünyaya gelmiştir. Sanatla iç içe bir ailede büyüyen Waterston, efsanevi Amerikalı aktör Sam Waterston'ın kızıdır.
