Biyografi
Omar Sy, 20 Ocak 1978 tarihinde Trappes, Fransa'da dünyaya gelmiştir. Senegalli bir baba ve Moritanyalı bir annenin çocuğu olarak Paris'in banliyölerinde büyüdü. Kariyerine 1990'ların sonunda komedyen Fred Testot ile birlikte "Omar et Fred" adını verdikleri komedi ikilisi olarak radyoda başladı. İkili, özellikle Canal+ kanalında yayınlanan ve kısa skeçlerden oluşan "Service après-vente des émissions" (SAV) adlı televizyon programıyla Fransa'da büyük bir üne kavuştu.
